Our Mission and Formation
In the Summer of 2025, a group of friends—who are also local professional women—came together, united by a shared desire to make a positive impact within our community while enjoying meaningful connections and purposeful activities. After several months of thoughtful planning and collaboration, we officially established The Woo Group (Women Organizing Opportunities).

Our First Year Focus and Upcoming Events
In our inaugural year, The Woo Group is dedicating its efforts to initiatives that support women and children. We are excited to announce our first event—a Kentucky Derby party taking place in May, with a percentage of proceeds benefiting Malta House. Looking ahead, we are also planning a second event for the fall, furthering our commitment to uplifting our community.
